How To Apply Mascara - Useful Tips

When it comes to give your makeup session a finishing touch, all the roads lead to a careful application of mascara, one of eye makeup products, on your eyelashes. Almost all fashionable women realize that applying mascara is not an easy task. Of course, enhancing the appearance of the most beautiful body parts can't come so easily and without any effort.

Here are some guidelines telling you how to do it how to get ready for it - Picking the Right Mascara Take the time to select the right mascara for the look you desire. If you were born with short, super light colored lashes, a thickening, darker mascara might work wonders for you.

Should you have been graced with long, dark lashes, simple mascara should do the trick by adding more fullness to your look. For your upper lashes, wiggle the mascara wand back and forth at the base of the lashes to deposit color before rolling the brush through your lashes.

Coat lashes from the very base to the tips with full strokes. This method creates a thicker looking lash with the ends separated and the base well defined. You need to replace your bottle of mascara every three months, sooner if the mascara is becoming especially sticky or full of clumps. This is due to the chemicals breaking down in the mascara after the three months.

For a brighter effect, swipe on your blush and lipstick before the eye makeup. In the end, you can apply mascara, eye shadow or liner. For nice lashes, you should try applying two mascara layers. First time start from the base of the lashes and wait a few minutes for drying.

The second mascara layer contains a gel base and makes your lashes resistant and curly. Applying mascara will draw attention to your eyes making them more crisp and clear looking by giving an illusion of a more open eye. Mascara is a great part of your daily makeup, even if you have no time to apply makeup, mascara alone will make you look awake and beautiful.

Choosing what type and color of mascara is dependent on personal taste. The tried and true trick of applying powder to the lips before lipstick, blotting and then repeating is the best way to ensure lasting coverage. First coat the lips with powder, fill in the entire lip area with lip liner, and then apply the lip color. Blot the lips then add another layer of powder before the final coat of color. To brighten the eyes, try a soft white color on the brow bone, the inner corners of the eyes, and just above and below the lash line.

To make eyes look larger, a light taupe color or sandy shade on the crease of the eyelid will do the job. A soft cotton swab is useful for blending eyeliner, and eyelash curlers should always be used prior to applying mascara. Mascara is also especially prone to smudging when applied on the lower lashes. That said, if you like wearing mascara on your lower lashes, hold the wand vertically and apply a light coat to lashes. let all lashes dry for a minute or two, and then comb through them with a lash comb to unclump them and create a more realistic-looking finish.

Clean up any errant bits of mascara with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of foundation, makeup remover, or moisturizer.
